Our customers have three different options on how to purchase a Rodney Philpott.

Firstly,  a customer can fall in love with one of our dress samples and order it in their size. We have a full collection of sample dresses in every shape, colour and fabric. Secondly,  a customer can mix and match between our sample dresses. You can mix and match the design of the bodice or skirt or parts of each. You can mix and match the colour of each dress. You can mix and match the fabric of our samples. This is a fun way for you to use our sample dresses to make your very own dress. Lastly,  You can order a custom dress from pictures you have found (We will never steal another designer’s work. We use your pictures as a design influence. We create your custom dress using this influence while designing our own flare into the dress. We understand that sometimes, you have a dress in mind but just can’t find it anywhere. All three options are the same price.

Our wedding dresses range in price from 2200$ to 4000$.

Our bridesmaid dresses range in price from 400$ to 600$.

Our flower girl dresses range in price from 450$ to 550$. They make Cinderella excited!

Our graduation dresses range in price from 900$ to 1200$.

Our evening/mother of the bride/groom dresses range in price from 900$ to 1200$.

Our cocktail dresses range in price from 900$ to 2200$.

In-house alterations are free of charge on all Rodney Philpott retail or custom dress purchases. It is our job to fit your dress and not yours. It’s a small way we can assure our clients that they we will look and feel perfect in your dress. It's a small thing that sets our brand apart from the rest of the wedding dress options in Newfoundland. 

Brides have a full selection of veils at our bridal store. Finger tip blusher veils are 120$ and cathedral blusher veils are 300$. Brides can add lace or any other kind of embellishment at an additional charge. 

We place each dress purchase (regardless of the option you choose) through five fittings.

We break down the five fittings into Design, Fit (alterations) and pick up.

We provide two design fittings. These fittings are spaced out two weeks from each other. During the design fittings, we allow our client to be critical on the design they ordered. The client can change anything and everything about the design of the dress in the first two fittings. There are no additional charges to any of these changes. We offer these two design change fittings to ensure the design the client order is the design that they still want. It’s a small benefit of working with our bridal store. We give our clients the ability to second guess their design choice to ensure it is what they want. A client can ask for a third design fitting if required however, the maximum number of design fittings is three. If a design cannot be agreed to by the client, the dress will not move into alterations. The order is cancelled and the client forfeits their non refundable deposit.

The next phase includes two fit (alterations) fittings. At the 3rd fitting, the wedding dress is in one piece. We have two fitting dates during this phase. We now focus on the fit of the dress. We want to make sure all the alterations are completed to our clients wishes. We perform a walk and sit test during these two fittings. We ensure the client feels great and the dress is worn the way the client wants it to be worn.

The final fitting is the day-of-pick up. At this fitting everything is done. We have the client try on the dress one more time to make sure everything is perfect. If there is anything that needs to be addressed, it is looked after either at this fitting or we will schedule the client back in within a few days.

These five fittings are our template. It works for 75% of our clients. We do not mind if a client adds a fitting here or there. If a client needs one more fitting during the design phase we do not mind adding it. There is a maximum of 3 fittings in design. If a client needs another fitting during alterations we do not mind adding it. Sometimes a dress order needs another fitting to make sure everything is perfect.

Booking our time is more important than choosing your wedding dress design. We’ve taken months to work with a customer on creating their dress to spending a dedicated weekend with one customer to complete their dress. Since your dress is being made here in St.John’s, we control the time it takes to make it. My custom process brings back all the fun in getting your dress. I invite clients to invite anyone they wish to attend their fittings. I make sure it’s a family and friendly environment

Our bridal store has in-house alteration services to provide a seamless transaction to our customers. Brides can hire our bridal store to alter their Helen Fontaine wedding dress at a flat rate of 250$ regardless what needs to be done to fit the dress. This also includes the hem of the dress.

Kaya Nova is a retail brand of wedding dresses that celebrates European fashion. 

Wedding dresses range in price from 1800$ to 3600$ which includes a free finger tip blusher veil. You can hire our bridal store to look after your in house alterations for a flat rate fee of 250$ (includes the hem) or you can hire any outside seamstress at your expense.

Natalya Kaynova fell in love with the amazing craft of wedding dresses creation when she first saw the complete process of a wedding dress’ birth from design to creation.  Since then she had a huge and beautiful dream in her life to become a designer. She was studying different technics and peculiarities of sewing, decoration and materials matching.
